Ilon Liu
Principal Investigator
Ilon is a clinician-scientist and neurologist at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She received her MD from Heidelberg University, and trained at University Hospital Heidelberg and at the Charité in Berlin. She was also a post-doctoral researcher in neuro-oncology in Mariella Filbin's lab at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Laurens Zaschke
MD/PhD Candidate
Laurens is a medical student and PhD candidate at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Berlin School of Integrative Oncology. Also holding a bachelor’s degree in Physics, he aims to bridge wet-lab, dry-lab, and clinical brain tumor research.
Fabian Semmler
MD Candidate
Fabian is a physician currently working in the the Liu Lab at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin as part of his MD thesis. He is specifically interested in neuro-oncology, aging and neuroimmunology, currently focusing on brain tumors in the adolescent and young adult population. Fabian is planning to start clinical work soon aiming to work as a clinician-scientist in Neurology.
